J&T Consulting continues to encourage and support young motivated students. For this purpose, the company established a scholarship named after prominent Georgian lawyers in cooperation with the Georgian Universities. This time, J&T Consulting in cooperation with "Sulkhan-Saba Orbeliani University" announced a scholarship named after Sergi Japaridze, a prominent Georgian lawyer who worked at the beginning of the 20th century.
Sergi Japaridze, as the author of one of the important books in private law - "Commercial Law", belongs to the small group of authors of the 20th century who tried to introduce the European model of private law in Georgia. It can be say that the book created by Sergi Japaridze touches on the important issues of private law even today. That is why, taking into account the working profile of J&T Consulting, we decided to establish a scholarship named after Sergi Japaridze for private law students.
As mentioned, the competition was held in cooperation with "Sulkhan-Saba Orbelian University". Participants were students of the master's level [private law]. As a result of several stages of the competition, Tamar Sebiskveradze was declared the winner. In accordance with the terms of the scholarship, Tamar will receive a monthly stipend for 6 months and at the same time she will be an intern of J&T Consulting.
