On November 8-9, 2018, Mr. Giorgi Tsertsvadze – Managing Partner of the law firm ‘’J&T Consulting’’ has delivered a speech at the Second International Conference organized by Brazilian Mediation and Arbitration Center (Centro Brasileiro de Mediação e Arbitragem) (CBMA)hosted in Rio de Janeiro.
Together with Mr. Tsertsvadze, international experts, judges and practitioners in alternative dispute resolution from Brazil and the US delivered a speech and participated in the panel discussions. The discussion was about the hindering factors affecting the mediation development in the above-mentioned countries. Almost by all the speakers were outlined theuniform nature of the problems that mediators and arbitrators face to their daily work in different legal traditions.
On the conference was especially remarked the importance of the disputes arising in cyber space and its resolution through mediation and arbitration and the perspectives in this direction, what should be considerably interesting for our country.
