An international two-day conference “Tbilisi Mediation Days 2016” was held at the hotel “Radisson Blu Iveria” on November 21-22, 2016. The aim of the conference was promoting of development of mediation as a method of an alternative dispute resolution. Among the speakers there were foreign experts of this sphere, as well as Georgian experts.
At the mentioned conference our managing partner Giorgi Tsertsvadze (he is also a chairman of the Georgian Association of Mediators) with the chairman of the Georgian Association of Court Mediators made a presentation about the draft law on Mediation. Mr. Giorgi is a drafting committee member of Law on Mediation, he was also an active member of the organizing team of the “Tbilisi Mediation Days 2016” and the moderator one of the conference panels.
The conference was supported by UNDP Georgia, EU in Georgia, USAID Georgia and GIZ.
