It is our privilege to announce the annual International Mediation Competition will be held in the autumn of 2022, which is initiated and financially supported by the Weinstein International Foundation.
The Weinstein International Foundation is a non-profit organisation founded in 2018 in the US, California. Foundation is dedicated to make mediation available and accessible worldwide in the face of increasing global challenges and conflict. The competition in Georgia is co-sponsored by the Law Firm J&T Consulting and EBA Mediation and Arbitration Center. The project is also supported by the law firm MG Law Office (collaborating with Andersen Global in Georgia).
Mediation Writing Competition is held worldwide for the second time. The competition is unique due to its format, focusing on developing the written skills of mediation advocates. Participants will be asked to prepare mediation briefs as part of the competition.
The competition is being held in nine countries around the world led by Senior Fellows of the Weinstein International Foundation. I-IV year undergraduate students of accredited Law Schools in Georgia are eligible to participate in the competition.
The deadline for submitting the mediation brief is October 31, 2021, the winner will be announced on December 7. The winner will be chosen by a Panel of qualified mediators.
The national winner will be awarded $ 1,000 co-sponsored by the Weinstein International Foundation, Law Firm J&T Consulting and EBA Mediation and Arbitration Center.
